Job description
Medrina is a large, physician-owned practice that has been a national group for over 15 years. We are currently looking to add a Medical Director to the team in our Moline, IL market! This role requires rehab experience!
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical care to IRF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Responsible for full medical management and primary care
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Administrative duties
Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Illinois license
Board certified in Internal Medicine
Active DEA license
Minimum 1 year of rehab experience required
Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations
Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
Preferred Experience: Skilled Nursing Facility or post-acute care experience
Inpatient hospitalist
Geriatric Medicine
What Medrina Offers: 1099 independent contractor
Monday-Friday, no weekends
Part-time opportunities available
Inpatient Rehab Facility
We cover tail end of malpractice
Competitive compensation
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.
Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
