Primary Care Physician Opportunity
HealthPlus Staffing is assisting a multi-specialty medical group with their search for a primary care physician to join them full-time. This well-established organization has various locations across southeast New Mexico and plays an integral role in the region's communities.
Location: Roswell, NM
Start date: 30-60 days
Patient population: Adults only, mostly geriatrics
Support: Full staff & advanced practice providers
Salary: Competitive compensation (discussed confidentially during interview)
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duties
Diagnose and treat adult patients (18+) with a wide range of diseases and injuries related to internal organ systems, as well as organic or congenital disorders. On an outpatient basis, assess the nature and extent of diseases using diagnostic imaging and tests. Prescribe medications, consult with other healthcare professionals, and refer patients to specialists when necessary. Provide advice on disease prevention and health promotion, manage patient complaints, and participate in professional development through educational programs and literature review.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), completed a three-year residency in internal medicine, and a valid New Mexico license to practice medicine.
