Job description
We are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician for outpatient locum coverage in California. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule in a collaborative urgent care / primary care clinic setting.
Assignment Details:
Start: June 2026
13-week assignment
Outpatient clinic coverage
Schedule:
Monday Friday
8:00 AM 5:00 PM
No call
Day shifts only
Practice Setting:
Outpatient urgent care / primary care clinic
Adult and geriatric patient population
Physician and APP support onsite
EMR: NextGen
Work Details:
Patient volume: patients/day
Primary care-focused coverage
Procedures Include:
PAPs
Cryotherapy
Punch biopsies
Simple wound care
Joint injections (optional for some providers)
Toenail removal
Birth control prescribing
Requirements:
MD/DO Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Active California license required
