Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity
Join Banner Health and the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix in an exhilarating journey towards excellence. We're expanding our Graduate Medical Education programs, adding an impressive 229 residency and fellowship positions. As a part of this expansion, we're seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our clinical and residency faculty at our health center in vibrant Surprise, Arizona.
Position Highlights:
+ Academic Role: Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of MedicinePhoenix
+ Teaching-Focused Practice: Outpatient precepting, resident mentorship, and curriculum development
+ Protected Faculty Time: Dedicated time for teaching, scholarship, and program development
+ Flexible Scheduling: Outpatient-focused role with limited call; inpatient shifts optional
+ Leadership Opportunities: Participate in program growth with pathways to future leadership roles (e.g., curriculum lead)
+ Robust Support: Experienced MAs, front office staff, and engaged clinical and GME leadership

Requirements:
+ Board Certified or Board Eligible: Bring your expertise as a certified Internal Medicine physician.

+ Leadership Potential: Showcase your history of scholarship and leadership experience, or your potential to lead.

+ Arizona State Medical Licensure: Hold or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure.
