Nocturnist Physician Opportunity 25 minutes from Raleigh, North Carolina
We are seeking a dedicated Nocturnist Physician to join an established hospital medicine team just outside of Raleigh, NC. This position is designed for physicians who prefer an overnight schedule and enjoy providing high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative hospital environment.
About the Hospital Medicine Team
Become part of a close-knit and growing team of eight physicians with additional support from a dedicated Program Coordinator. The hospital is licensed for 205 acute care beds and includes 52 medical-surgical beds and a 12-bed Progressive Care Unit.
The team has built a stable and supportive practice and is expanding to meet the needs of the hospital and surrounding community.
The hospital offers access to a broad range of specialty services, including cardiology, pulmonology, critical care, orthopedics, and OB/GYN. Physicians benefit from strong multidisciplinary collaboration and the resources necessary to effectively manage medically complex patients.
Position Highlights
Dedicated nocturnist position working exclusively overnight shifts
7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m. schedule
7 days on / 7 days off with scheduling flexibility
Open ICU and Progressive Care Unit coverage
Daytime intensivist coverage with intensivist consult support available overnight
No procedures required
Participation on the hospital code team
Collaborative practice environment focused on quality and patient-centered care
Candidate Qualifications
Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physicians
Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.
Compensation
This opportunity offers a highly competitive compensation package with additional bonus potential.
Average annual nocturnist compensation is approximately $350,000.
