Job description
A health services organization in Virginia is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician to join their team in Richmond, providing comprehensive care for adults 55 and older.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: Standard business hours
Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services for an adult patient population ages 55 and older
Manage an average patient volume of approximately 20 to 22 patients per day
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions within the scope of internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics
Coordinate care with the site medical director and other members of the care team
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support continuity of care in an outpatient setting
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
Active medical licensure in Virginia
Experience practicing primary care
