Internal Medicine Physician
Start Date: ASAP. Available Shifts: M‑F. Pay Rate: $235,751.00 – $341,400.00.
AMN Healthcare invites Internal Medicine physicians to apply for an outpatient only opportunity in Northern Arizona. Join a mission-driven team providing safe, accessible, quality, and culturally sensitive care for Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute, and neighboring communities. Build an outpatient‑only practice (no call). You’ll help shape clinic workflows from launch, enjoy meaningful continuity with medically complex adults, and teach rotating residents while maintaining genuine work‑life balance.
Opportunity Highlights
Competitive base compensation + incentives
Outpatient only, no call; choose 4 or 5 clinic days/week
Enjoy more time with your patients: 60 minutes for new/complex; 20–30 minutes for returns
Adult chronic care breadth: diabetes, hypertension, rheumatology, infectious diseases (including TB), obesity management
Option to precept residents
Benefits: PTO 5–8 weeks (tiered by tenure) + 1 week CME; $2,500 CME allowance; license/DEA fees reimbursed; comprehensive medical/dental/vision; occurrence malpractice
Housing: discounted staff housing options on campus/near‑site as available
Eligibility: MD/DO; Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine; unrestricted license from any U.S. state/territory/D.C./Puerto Rico; visa candidates cannot be considered
