Internal Medicine Physician - Post-Acute Care Full-Time Worcester, Massachusetts We are seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician (MD or DO) to join our team and provide high-quality care in post-acute care settings throughout Worcester, MA. This position offers a manageable patient census, strong interdisciplinary support, and uncapped earning potential.Position Overview The physician will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and cost-conscious care to patients in post-acute care communities. This role includes inpatient rounding across multiple care settings and close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes and smooth care transitions.Patient volume: 15-20 patients per dayEmployment type: Full-timeCompensation model: Fee-for-service (FFS)Estimated annual compensation: $252,000 - $302,000, with no cap on productivity incomeBenefits eligible full-time role Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in post-acute care communitiesPerform inpatient rounding in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, and long-term care hospitalsCollaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams while adhering to CMS and Medicare guidelinesCoordinate care transitions with hospice, palliative care, and home care agenciesEnsure timely, accurate documentation and billing using the Gehrimed EMR system Qualifications MD or DOBoard certified in Internal Medicine or Family MedicineActive medical license in the stateStrong clinical judgment and commitment to quality patient careExperienced candidates welcome; training available
