About This Role
The International RN position at Cleveland Clinic involves providing direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols, with a focus on geriatric, Med/Surg, and hospice backgrounds. This role requires international travel to the Middle East and is ideal for experienced nurses looking to expand their horizons.

What You’ll Do
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve planned outcomes.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
Assess and coordinate client's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate.
Validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching.
Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing education and clinical nursing study.
Requirements
Education
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN required.
Experience
Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience required for SNF care settings.
Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or rehab experience required for rehab care settings.
Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience required for ED settings.
3 years of RN experience required for international roles.
Preferred experience in geriatrics.
Licenses & Certifications
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
ACLS certification required if in a Critical Care area, upon hire or within the first year.
PALS certification required if in an ED, upon hire or within one year.
TNCC or ENPC required if in Dedicated Trauma Centers, upon hire or within 24 months.
