Internal Medicine Physician Responsibilities: Provides general medical care to health center patients.
Evaluates patient's health status and initiates therapeutic and preventive measures.
Educates patients by teaching preventative care.
Documents patients' history and treatments.
Performs medical triage.
Stabilizes emergencies prior to hospitalization.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests. Follows-up on patients.
When appropriate, refers patients to specialists or other physicians.

What You Bring to Refuah: Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
Valid NYS License or ability to attain one
Active NY DEA Registration
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
Hours: Daytime, one evening per week, Fridays and available on weekends
Eligible to Work in the US
Working Conditions and Physical Efforts: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles.

Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make out distinctions in sound.
Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
