Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule
Join a collaborative team in Oregon dedicated to excellence in cardiovascular care, committed to advancing patient outcomes, strengthening multidisciplinary partnerships, and serving the growing needs of the community.
Position Highlights:
Schedule:
Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off). 1-3 year contract--where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient cardiology clinic
Inpatient consults and rounding
24/7 call during block schedule
Diagnostic LHC/RHC (Coronary Angiography)
Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS)
Echocardiography
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
Nuclear Cardiology Studies
Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation (preferred)
Procedures
Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization
Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Radial Access Procedures
Cardioversion
Temporary Pacemaker Placement
Permanent Pacemaker Implantation (preferred)
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Placement and Management
Impella Placement and Management
IVC Filter Placement and Retrieval
Peripheral Intervention (preferred)
Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) Intervention
Mechanical Thrombectomy (Penumbra and similar thrombectomy systems)
Requirements:
Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
50 PCI's/year for the last 2 years
OR Medical License and DEA- Licensure facilitation provided
Training and experience in fluoroscopy-guided cardiovascular procedures and radiation safety
