Job description
Role Overview:
An academic Interventional Cardiologist is sought to help develop a STEMI program and expand interventional cardiology services at a Level I Trauma Center. This position offers leadership opportunities within a growing medical academic center dedicated to teaching, research, and innovation.
Responsibilities
Build and enhance STEMI and interventional cardiology programs
Provide patient care, comprising approximately 90% of duties
Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Contribute to research and academic initiatives
Support clinical growth and service line development with leadership skills
Qualifications & Skills
Board-certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, or advanced cardiology
Experience working without surgical backup
Leadership potential for roles such as Division Chief or program leader
Comfortable balancing patient care, teaching, and research
Additional Details:
