Job description
Interventional Cardiologist Role in California – Flexible Block Schedule
Join one of VitalSolution’s premier healthcare partners in the heart of California’s historic Gold Country—where your expertise is valued and your time off is truly your own.
Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off). Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.
Team: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists, Interventionalists
Contract: 1-3 year contract
Clinical Responsibilities:
Outpatient cardiology clinic
Inpatient consults and rounding
24/7 call during block schedule
Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
IVUS
Nuclear cardiology studies
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Supervise or interpret stress testing
Procedures:
Cardioversion
IABP
Temporary Pacemakers
Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
Peripheral Intervention (preferred but not required)
Requirements:
Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
75 PCIs in the last 12 months
California medical license
California Fluoroscopy Supervisor and Operator Permit
