Requirements:
MD or DO candidates.
Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology completion required from an ACGME program.
Nuclear and Echo Cardiology training/experience preferred.
Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology required (ABIM).
Active Texas license required. Seeking someone who can start November 2026 (allowing 120 days for credentialing).

Employed position with Texas Health Heart & Vascular Specialists, a member of
Texas Health Physicians Group
(THPG), including very attractive compensation and benefits package.
The new interventional cardiologist will work exclusively out of our clinic in Frisco and
Texas Health Frisco . (Texas Health Hospital Frisco is a joint venture between Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern.
The team currently consists of 3 interventional cardiologists, 2 invasive non-interventional cardiologists, and 2 non-invasive general cardiologists.
Call will be split equally. Currently, the team provides call and STEMI coverage at 3 of our facilities in Plano, Allen, and Frisco.
STEMI call coverage will be shared amongst 4 participating cardiologists.
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
15% travel for facility call coverage
There is no opportunity for structural heart in this practice.
