Job description
Advance your nursing practice in an engaging interventional radiology environment, providing critical care and support to patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures. This contract opportunity is ideal for skilled Registered Nurses who thrive in dynamic clinical settings and are dedicated to delivering excellent patient care in Interventional Radiology (IR).
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible scheduling may be available based on department needs.
Key Qualifications: Valid RN license in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an RN in Interventional Radiology or a comparable acute care environment.
Advanced knowledge of IR procedures, patient monitoring, and sterile technique.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
Primary Responsibilities: Monitor, assess, and provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile fields, and assist physicians during IR treatments such as angiograms, biopsies, and catheter placements.
Administer moderate sedation, monitor patient responses, and respond quickly to changes in condition.
Educate patients and families about procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedural care.
Document all aspects of care accurately in the electronic medical record.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

$2,709 - $2,856/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
