Job description
Step into a vital nursing role specializing in Interventional Radiology. As a Registered Nurse with expertise in IR, you will deliver top-quality care to patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid and current RN license
Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
Strong clinical assessment and IV skills
Ability to monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and technical ability
BLS and ACLS certification required
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care during IR procedures, including prepping, monitoring, and recovering patients
Collaborate closely with radiology physicians, technologists, and other healthcare staff
Maintain detailed patient documentation and procedure notes
Ensure all equipment and sterile techniques are maintained
Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care expectations
Respond swiftly to procedural emergencies and support clinical decision-making
