Job description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology. This contract role is ideal for a dedicated RN with experience supporting imaging procedures and a strong background in interventional radiology. You'll provide vital bedside care to patients undergoing minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort throughout their experience.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing
Prior experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
Proficiency in assisting with IR imaging procedures
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
BLS and ACLS certification required
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and other health professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in the IR suite
Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide post-procedural care
Act as a resource for patients and family members, offering education and support throughout the IR process
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
Respond promptly to changes in patient status and intervene as necessary
Maintain and manage IV lines, medications, and equipment relevant to IR

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
