Inventory And Shipping SpecialistAs an Inventory and Shipping Specialist, you must have the ability to complete data entry in both customer and company systems of record, perform double checks, assist customers with product location and delivery times. Extremely fast paced, candidate must possess excellent customer service skills. Join Rinchem and be part of shaping a brighter future for global technology.Why You'll Like This JobGreat people and a great place to workExciting and challenging work that helps build the future of technology from the foundation upFlexible working environment where you can fit life around work—we call that balanceOpportunity to guide and lead others while furthering your careerScope And ResponsibilitiesPerforms inventory receipt entry in the Chem-Star WMS and/or customer system(s) of record.Processes specialized customer transactions in Rinchem's and/or customer system(s) of record (Hold, damaged, disposition)Performs inventory cycle counts and enters customer reconciliation reports in the Chem-Star WMS and/or customer system(s) of recordResearch inventory discrepanciesPerforms QC checks on outbound, staged shipments.Answers basic questions about delivery and inventoryProvides truck driver directionsReceives and makes calls for LTL appointments.Schedules Rinchem dock appointments for both internal and external customersAnswers emails regarding basic questions about inventory, transportation scheduling, etc. (internal and external customers)Generates specialized shipping paperwork (BOLs, Manifests, IATA, IMDG) that may include calculating truck weight and determining load capacityPerforms general administrative work for the CSC that includes, but not limited to the following:Entering POI dataOpening & routing mailVisitor's log, filing/record retentionArchiving records and managing facility office suppliesActs as liaison with service center visitorsTrains backup (or 2-in-a-box) to perform all functions for their assigned responsibilities.Enters Customer Records and handles PO Process with CustomerQualificationsExperience and Education:High School Diploma or GEDSome college preferred.At least 3 years of customer service experienceCommunication Skills:Ability to initiate and maintain relationships with internal and external customersAbility to create accurate, meaningful, and professional correspondenceComputer Skills:Ability to learn system(s) of recordAccurate data entryMS Office suite skills and experience (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint)Familiarity with NCR/CAPA system and ability to help determine root cause and make suggestions for continuous improvementCertificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations:Ability to obtain IMDG, IATA, and other Regulatory Certifications as neededOther Skills and Abilities:Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential Self-directed and motivated; able to take initiative on one's own Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quicklyOther Qualifications:Must be able to handle flexible schedule.Strong data entry skillsStrong attention to detailReasonable Accommodation:We are committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
