Inventory ControlGourmet Foods International is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to help maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, quality inspections, processing customer returns, and maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple systems. This position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced distribution environment.Some of your duties may include:Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activitiesMaintain accurate physical inventory quantities and verify inventory against system recordsValidate customer returns against return sheets, pickups, and invoicesResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortagesUtilize warehouse management and inventory systems to maintain accurate inventory recordsLearn and effectively operate Power Warehouse and Power Enterprise systemsVerify product dates, rotation, and quality standardsSupport food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirementsAssist with inventory audits and reporting activitiesMaintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions and adjustmentsThings you need to be able to do:Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and WordStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to learn and utilize multiple inventory management systemsAbility to identify and resolve inventory discrepanciesAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workdayAbility to bend, reach, and perform physical inventory tasksAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as neededAbility to work in refrigerated, freezer, and warehouse environments with temperatures ranging from -5°F to 45°FThings that are a plus but not a deal-breaker:High School Diploma or GEDCollege coursework or degree preferredPrevious inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse experienceExperience of working with warehouse management systemsExperience in food distribution, warehouse, or logistics environmentsWhat we think you'll love about Gourmet Foods International:Stay Active: Work in a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged throughout your shift.Career Growth: Take advantage of advancement opportunities and tuition reimbursement programs.Learning Culture: Gain experience with inventory systems, technology, and gourmet food distribution operations.Team Environment: Join a team that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMAvailability: Candidates must meet the scheduling requirements of the position.
