Inventory AssociatePrideStaff Atlanta South is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Associates for a large, fast-paced distribution facility in Newnan, GA.The Inventory Associate will help maintain accurate inventory throughout the warehouse by verifying product, researching discrepancies, performing inventory counts, and ensuring merchandise is stored in the correct locations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and takes pride in accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts and physical inventory checks throughout the warehouseVerify product quantities, SKUs, and storage locationsResearch and assist with resolving inventory discrepanciesLocate missing, misplaced, or incorrectly stored merchandiseAssist with inventory adjustments and product movementMaintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems and/or scannersWork closely with receiving, shipping, picking, and other warehouse departmentsIdentify damaged or incorrectly labeled products and report issues to managementMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelinesAssist in other warehouse areas as neededQualificationsPrevious inventory control, warehouse, distribution, or related experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to count and verify inventory accuratelyBasic computer and data-entry skillsExperience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plusAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shiftIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is dependable, organized, has reliable transportation and comfortable working in a high-volume distribution environment.
