Inventory Control Operator - Night ShiftWe are looking for an Inventory Control Operator - Night Shift located in Odessa, TX. This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.What's In It For You:Flexible, independent work environment where you will manage a monthly scheduleAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technologyGrow your income as you drive growthThrive in a company that values a culture of safety to include top-notch safety training and personal protection equipmentComprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!What You Will Do:Maintain accurate inventory records for ESP equipment, including pumps, motors, protectors, variable speed drives, and cablePerform daily inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns in the ERP systemConduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policiesInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and transaction errorsMonitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stockouts and excess inventoryVerify material availability to support manufacturing, assembly, repair, field service, and customer delivery schedulesCoordinate inbound and outbound material movements between warehouses, repair facilities, service centers, and field locationsTrack serialized equipment and maintain asset traceability throughout the inventory lifecycleEnsure proper storage, handling, and preservation of ESP components to prevent damage and maintain quality standardsCollaborate with procurement and supply chain teams regarding material requirements, shortages, and inventory optimization opportunitiesPrepare inventory reports, performance metrics, and status updates for managementSupport year-end inventory accounts and financial auditsMaintain compliance with company policies, quality management systems, and HSE requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiencyPosition Details:11 days on/3 days off, every other weekend7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.Minimum Qualifications:1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse, materials management, or supply chainAbility to drive a forkliftStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracyStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to prioritize and multitask through multiple computer programsStrong proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications; experience with SAP is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated with a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellenceProblem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve shipping and inventory issuesDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues across departments to achieve shared goalsFollow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positivelyImmigration sponsorship not offered for this rolePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Climbing, balancing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, walking, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motion are all required for this role.Close visual acuity is required for visual inspections involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection) and motor vehicles, using measurement devices, and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.Subject to environmental conditions as activities occur inside and outside.Subject to hazards including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.Subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation that may affect the respiratory system or the skin.Subject to oils such as cutting fluids that may affect the respiratory system or the skin.About Us:ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
