Inventory Planner PrincipalAs an Inventory Planner Principal here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory management and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. You will be responsible for acting as the subject matter expert in analyzing demand patterns, forecasting inventory requirements, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Join us in shaping the future of technology and apply today.You will report directly to our Senior Director Materials Management, and you will be able to work out of either the Houston, TX or Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.By effectively managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and cost management, you will improve customer satisfaction, minimize carrying costs, and reduce waste.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead and manage inventory planning activitiesDevelop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levelsAnalyze demand patterns and forecast future inventory requirementsCollaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materialsMonitor inventory performance and implement corrective actionsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory managementProvide guidance and mentorship for the inventory planning teamQualificationsYOU MUST HAVE• 6+ years of comprehensive experience in inventory planning or supply chain management• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Proficient in using inventory management software and tools• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams• Ability to provide expert guidance on technical skills and strategyWE VALUE• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field• Experience in implementing inventory optimization strategies• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills• Continuous learning mindset and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends• Professional licensure, APICS certification, or equivalent technical certificationTravel Required: Less than 25%Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
