Job description
An established and rapidly growing company in the commercial and industrial skilled trades is looking to add a Vice President of Investing to its team.
Qualifications
Experience in Corporate Development or Private Equity/ similar investing role
Strong track record of leading or executing M&A transactions.
Excellent financial, analytical, and commercial judgment.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, particularly with business owners and founders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and move quickly.
Willingness to travel and work in-office in New York City or Denver .
Key Responsibilities
Lead M&A and capital allocation strategy for a ~$300M business with a mandate to exceed $1B by 2031.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and close high-quality acquisition opportunities.
Build strong relationships with business owners and founders.
Partner with operating and business development leaders to execute growth plans.
Drive disciplined, high-velocity decision-making across M&A and organic growth initiatives.
Own the investment thesis, deal process, and long-term value creation strategy.
