Job description
I am seeking an interim fully remote insurance accounting professional to support reinsurance accounting, statutory reporting, filings, and audits. This is a contract role (W2 or 1099), could be temp to hire and would remain remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Account for ceded reinsurance transactions, settlements, funds withheld arrangements, and accruals
Evaluate reinsurance contracts and determine appropriate accounting treatment
Assist with quarterly/annual statutory financial statements, state and NAIC filings
Prepare and review reporting schedules and exhibits using Wings
Support variance analysis and financial reporting
Collect documentation and respond to interim and annual audit requests
