Job description

The short version

If the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.

Savano Capital Partners is growing its investment team following the recent close of our fourth fund. We're hiring an Investment Associate to help source, evaluate, and execute investments in leading late-stage technology and tech-enabled services companies.

You'll spend approximately half your time sourcing new investment opportunities and building relationships with founders, executives, and investors. The other half will focus on investment diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.

You'll work directly with our partners, participate in investment committee discussions from day one, and take on meaningful responsibility within a collaborative team of approximately ten professionals.

About Savano

Savano Capital Partners is a direct secondaries investment firm focused on leading late-stage technology and tech-enabled services companies.

We provide liquidity to founders, executives, employees, and early investors by acquiring minority ownership positions in established, high-growth businesses. Our investments are typically $10–30 million per company.

Our approach combines the fundamental underwriting and investment discipline of growth equity with the differentiated sourcing and transaction dynamics of direct secondaries. We focus on high-quality, capital-efficient companies and build relationships with shareholders well before potential transactions emerge.

We recently closed Fund IV, providing our largest pool of capital to date and a strong foundation for continued growth.

What you'll do

Source investment opportunities . Proactively identify attractive companies and potential sellers, develop new relationships, and build meaningful ownership of company and shareholder coverage.

Build relationships across the technology ecosystem . Engage directly with founders, executives, employees, investors, and other market participants to develop proprietary deal flow.

Manage and advance investment opportunities . Help prioritize prospects, maintain our investment pipeline, and move opportunities from initial outreach through evaluation and execution.

Execute investment diligence . Analyze companies, industries, competitive dynamics, financial performance, and growth opportunities. Build financial models, develop valuations, and prepare investment committee materials.

Support portfolio monitoring . Evaluate company performance, industry developments, potential exits, and follow-on investment opportunities.

Help improve how we invest . Contribute to initiatives that enhance our sourcing capabilities, data, technology, and investment processes.

What we're looking for

Experience : 2+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or a comparable analytical investment role.

Financial and analytical skills : Strong understanding of accounting, financial modeling, valuation, and business fundamentals.

Intellectual curiosity : Genuine interest in understanding how businesses work, what makes them successful, and how industries evolve.

Relationship-building ability : Confidence and communication skills to engage with senior executives, shareholders, investors, and other market participants.

Ownership and attention to detail : Strong work ethic, sound judgment, intellectual honesty, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment.

Location : Based in Baltimore or willing to relocate. Connections to Maryland or the broader Mid-Atlantic region are a plus. xhmxlyz

We're looking for someone who wants to develop as an investor, build lasting relationships, and play a meaningful role in growing our investment platform.
