An independent, M&A-focused investment bank is seeking to add a Vice President to its Technology Investment Banking team in New York. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected franchise with strong momentum across software, internet, fintech, IT services, digital infrastructure, and broader technology sectors.
Responsibilities
Lead execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions from inception through closing
Manage day-to-day deal processes and coordinate internal and external workstreams
Oversee valuation analyses, financial modeling, marketing materials, and transaction documentation
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, private equity sponsors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders
Mentor and develop junior bankers while helping drive a collaborative team culture
Support business development initiatives and contribute to client relationship management
Qualifications
5-8+ years of investment banking experience
Prior Technology investment banking experience preferred, although strong sector-relevant M&A experience will also be considered
Demonstrated experience leading live transaction execution
Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Strong communication and client management capabilities
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
