Job description
Blacklock is supporting a leading investment banking platform in the appointment of a Vice President to join its Healthcare M&A team. This is a senior execution and client-facing role within a well-established, high-growth healthcare franchise, offering strong deal exposure and a clear pathway for progression.
Location:
New York or Chicago
Responsibilities include:
Leading execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions
Acting as a primary day-to-day client contact on live mandates
Managing transaction processes, financial analysis, and valuation work
Overseeing and developing junior team members
Supporting origination efforts, pitches, and sector coverage initiatives
Candidate Profile
5-8 years of investment banking experience, with a strong Healthcare M&A focus
Demonstrable track record of closed transactions (sell-side and/or buy-side)
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and process management skills
Confident communicator with experience advising senior clients
Currently operating at VP level, or a high-performing Associate ready to step up
