Role Overview
Apply your investment funds and transactional legal experience to help train, evaluate, and improve advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work. This part-time, remote contract role centers on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining, with a focus on improving how AI identifies risk, interprets contract language, and delivers precise legal analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Complete simulated contract negotiation and redlining exercises.
Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves accuracy and precision.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-enabled contract review.
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
Experience with contract redlining, contract negotiation, fund formation, and fund management.
Familiarity with M&A agreements and investment-funds documents, including LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and ISDAs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, careful attention to detail, and strong analytical judgment.
Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
Commitment to legal and technology innovation, with experience collaborating on fast-paced cross-disciplinary teams.
Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives is preferred.
Work Terms
Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
Work is completed on a task basis. Each task has an average handling time of approximately 3.5 hours.
Compensation
Target hourly compensation range: $90 to $180 per hour.
Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications. Effective hourly earnings depend on the volume of tasks completed and approved.
