About the Opportunity
SCx is seeking a Senior Designer with strong healthcare facility-design experience to support an IOTA healthcare activation and transition program in Martinsburg, WV.
The position will coordinate design requirements with healthcare operations, FF&E, casework, furnishings, signage, space planning, construction documentation, installation requirements, and facility systems.
Key Responsibilities
Support healthcare facility design and activation requirements.
Develop and coordinate space-planning and design solutions.
Coordinate FF&E, casework, furnishings, and signage requirements.
Review and coordinate construction and installation documents.
Develop and review three-dimensional renderings.
Coordinate design requirements with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and equipment requirements.
Work with project management, transition, logistics, and healthcare stakeholders.
Identify design conflicts and recommend solutions.
Support facility activation and turnover activities.
Participate in stakeholder meetings and design reviews.
Maintain accurate design documentation and project records.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of healthcare facility-design experience.
Active NCIDQ certification required.
Experience with: Healthcare operations
FF&E
Casework
Furnishings
Signage
Space planning
Design coordination
Construction documents
Installation documents
3D renderings
Ability to coordinate designs against architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and equipment requirements.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to support a healthcare project in Martinsburg, WV 25405.
Ability to meet applicable VA background investigation, PIV, training, and facility-access requirements.
