Job description
Pediatric Physiatrist needed to join our team serving thechildren of Iowa with a truly complete continuum of care program. They have IP and OP Rehab, Iowa’s only pediatric specialty hospital, complex medical care, autism program, behavioral health, brain injury program, medical clinics along with community-based care and homes – and still growing. You can imagine why we are adding another physiatrist!
A few highlights:
A combination of inpatient and outpatient Pediatric PM&R
Iowa’s only freestanding pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program, supported by a board-certified pediatric physiatrist and experienced interdisciplinary team
A consultative inpatient model teamed with dedicated hospitalists.
They have uniquely equipped facilities, and state-of-the-art technology to care for children and young adults
Everything about this program is for the children to live great lives.
Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine fellowship training is preferred, and new fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply. They will also consider a general physiatrist with significant pediatric experience and a genuine interest in this patient population.
