Job description

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Current and valid RN license
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
Strong knowledge of IR protocols, patient monitoring, and pre/post-procedure care
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
Assess patient status and ensure proper documentation of all observations and interventions
Administer medications and assist with moderate sedation as needed
Monitor for and manage potential complications related to IR procedures
Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedural care
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety practices
Collaborate with physicians and technologists to achieve positive patient outcomes
