IronworkerLocation: LA and other various project locations in TXProject Duration: Estimated March 2026 - October 2026We are seeking experienced Ironworkers to support structural steel erection and installation. This role is responsible for assembling, installing, aligning, and securing structural steel components in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. For additional project specifications please apply and a recruiter will be in contact with you.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and structural plansAssemble and erect structural steel frameworks, columns, beams, and girdersInstall metal decking, bracing systems, stairs, handrails, and miscellaneous metalsAlign and plumb steel members using levels, laser tools, and rigging equipmentBolt, weld, and secure steel components according to specificationsSignal crane operators during lifts and guide steel members into placeOperate lifts, forklifts, and other construction equipment as requiredPerform connecting, decking, and detail work at heightsMaintain compliance with all OSHA and site-specific safety requirementsParticipate in daily safety meetings and job hazard analysesPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbs regularlyAbility to wear required PPE including fall protection (harnesses, lanyards), hard hats, gloves, steel-toed boots, eye protection, and possible respirator protection depending on tasksAbility to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and work at elevated heightsCapable of working 40+ hours per week, including overtime and varying shifts as neededQualifications3+ years of ironworking experience in industrial constructionNCCER Ironworker CertificationTWIC cardAbility to read and interpret structural drawingsProficient in bolting, connecting, decking, and riggingComfortable working at heights and outdoor in varying weather conditionsKnowledge of proper rigging techniques and load signalingStrong understanding of fall protection systems
