Job description
Ironworker (Non and NCCER Certified)RWDY is looking for experienced Ironworkers to work on the construction of a direct carbon capture plant.Responsibilities:Lay out, position, align, and fit steel components for installation.Connect columns, beams, and girders using bolts and blueprints.Use rigging and cranes to move equipment and materials.Check alignment using levels, lasers, transits, and plumb bobs.Cut, bend, and weld steel using torches, shears, and welding equipment.Set up and operate welding equipment as needed.Follow supervisor instructions and project requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum 4 years of industrial construction or maintenance experience.NCCER certification preferred.Knowledge of MSDS/SDS requirements.Must have required tools for the trade.Must pass a drug test and complete an audiogram.Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, potentially over 300 ft.Must be available for overtime, nights, and weekends.Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
