PENDONG CONTRACT AWARD
Mission Objectives
Provide dedicated, cradle-to-grave ISSO support for stable Tier 2 systems and maintain rigid continuous monitoring cadences; U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC)
Position Responsibility Summary
Serve as the independent practitioner and primary owner of a named portfolio of Tier 2 systems (stable baselines, mature ConMon cadences). Intermediate ISSOs are not just analysts supporting others; they are fully accountable for their assigned systems under the oversight of Senior ISSOs.
Specific Responsibilities
Own a portfolio of Tier 2 systems, executing all RMF lifecycle tasks independently.
Produce comprehensive Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) reports and perform routine log verifications.
Analyze vulnerability scans, create POA&Ms, and map remediation activities within CSAM and ServiceNow.
Contribute to functional specializations across the team and participate in cross-training to ensure continuity of coverage.
Position Requirements
Minimum Required Qualification
Experience: 5+ years of federal/DoD cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years performing ISSO duties specifically for federal systems. Must demonstrate independent execution of RMF lifecycle tasks, ConMon reporting, and scan analysis.
Education and Credentials: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent IAT-II baseline certification.
Optional/Value-added qualifications
Optional/Value-added Experience: Experience managing stable baselines and routine CSAM entry.
Optional/Value-added Additional Credentials: CISSP, CISM, or CASP are highly preferred.
Duty Location: DFC Headquarters (1100 New York Avenue NW, Washington, DC) / Remote
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days per week, remote otherwise)
Work Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Minimum Security Clearance Required: Top secret or higher - Tier 4 Eligibility
