IT Director | $150-$160k based on experience | Direct Hire | Fairfield, OH
Salary: $150,000-$160,000, based on experience
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the strategy, security, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations of our company’s technology environment. This hands-on leadership role will ensure our IT systems effectively support manufacturing and business operations while maintaining a secure, reliable, and efficient technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, roadmap, and technology priorities.
Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, PLEX ERP/MRP , computers, telecommunications, cloud applications, and user access.
Lead cybersecurity, including endpoint protection, backups, access controls, vulnerability management, incident response, and disaster recovery.
Oversee help desk and technical support to ensure timely resolution of employee technology issues.
Manage IT vendors, consultants, software providers, and service agreements.
Develop and manage the IT budget, including hardware, software, services, and capital expenditures.
Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity, data protection, contractual, and industry requirements.
Partner with executive leadership, operations, engineering, finance, HR, and other departments to identify technology needs and improve business processes.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of progressive IT experience, including IT operations leadership.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, systems administration, and data protection.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization.
U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (ITAR requirement).
Must speak and read English.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of progressive IT experience, preferably within manufacturing.
Experience with manufacturing systems and technology, including ERP/MRP environments.
Proven experience managing IT projects, vendors, budgets, and technology implementations.
Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical problem solving.
