DT Pro is seeking a
Junior System Administrator
to support our NSWC team in Corona, CA! You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our employees and clients, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. There is an estimated 35%+ travel per year aboard U.Navy ships.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT equipment and software
Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation
Document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices and tools
Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
Active Secret Clearance
~2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role
~ Ability to travel 35%+ annually (trips may last 1–4 weeks)
~ Proficiency in Windows Server 2019, Windows 11, and Linux operating systems
~ Strong understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting techniques
~ Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and common business applications
~ 2+ years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
~ Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
~ Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools
~ Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
~ Additional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.
~ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for the role and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including incentive-based bonuses or commissions, as applicable.
