Overview
IT Project Manager 1 – Location: Atlanta, GA (10 Peach Tree Place). Start Date: ASAP. Contract: 12 Months.
Responsibilities
Support the Enterprise Decision Support and Data Governance (EDGE) organization in Southern Company Gas.
Work with stakeholders – both business and IT.
Gather functional and non-functional requirements; define target touch points and delivery dates for technical project requests made by business partners across the Gas business.
Manage progress of projects from ideation to production for multiple projects running simultaneously.
Own the project management platforms used within the organization to manage the portfolio of projects.
Qualifications
Experience supporting the EDGE organization in Southern Company Gas; ability to work with stakeholders – both business and IT.
Experience gathering functional and non-functional requirements.
Ability to define target touchpoints and delivery dates for technical project requests from business partners across the Gas business.
Experience managing multiple projects from ideation to production.
Experience owning and using project management platforms to manage a project portfolio.
