IV Sterile Compounding Clinical Pharmacist | Jonesboro, Arkansas
An urgent opening is available for a Clinical IV Pharmacist in Jonesboro, AR, offering a 3 to 6-month contract to hire opportunity. This role requires a professional with expertise in sterile compounding and strong clinical pharmacy skills, especially in IV medication management.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Every third weekend
Key Responsibilities:
Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room following sterile compounding protocols
Perform clinical duties that include interpreting lab results and monitoring patient responses
Provide flexible support across various pharmacy functions as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
At least 1 year of recent experience as an IV pharmacist
Active and clear Arkansas pharmacist license
Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret laboratory results effectively
Adaptable and willing to assist in various clinical pharmacy tasks
