Job description
This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to support a compounding pharmacy serving the Tampa, FL area. The role covers essential Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) responsibilities while the facility secures its California license. This contract position offers a chance to work in a specialized sterile compounding environment and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Schedule: Monday through Friday
10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, overseeing pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
Perform sterile compounding pharmacist duties, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication preparation
Maintain documentation in accordance with pharmacy laws and company policies
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to uphold high-quality standards
Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Florida pharmacy license required
California pharmacy license required to serve as Temporary PIC
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sterile compounding pharmacy practice preferred
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and sterile compounding procedures
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
This contract role will continue until the facility successfully obtains its California pharmacy license. It offers a focused environment for pharmacists skilled in compounding and leadership to make a direct impact.
