J31 Directorate Human Resources Technician (Senior)On-site: HQ SOCCENT, MacDill AFB, FL | Clearance: Active TS/SCIJob Purpose / SummaryProvide senior administrative and Defense Travel System (DTS) support to the SOCCENT J3 and J5 directorates, managing calendars, scheduling, and travel administration in compliance with federal travel regulations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOrganize, coordinate, and oversee the activities of the J3/J5 calendar, schedule, and travel management.Serve as the DTS technician, processing travel authorizations and vouchers in DTS and legacy systems in compliance with the Joint Travel Regulation and DoD FMR Vol. 9.Examine and verify travel authorizations, vouchers, and supporting documentation for adequacy, legal propriety, and completeness.Support Organizational Defense Travel Administrators (ODTAs), reviewers, and approving officials; resolve DTS problems and coordinate with the government travel program manager.Qualifications and SkillsEducation and experience: MA/MS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; JPME Level II or Service equivalent / advanced military education (SAMS, JAWS, Service War College); at least 5 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; at least 3 years of experience in one of the specialty areas (CENTCOM AOR, MISO, MILDEC, CWMD, ORSA, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, or Interagency); OR an equivalent combination of at least 10 years of SOF operational experience and education.Proficiency in DTS and legacy travel systems; working knowledge of the JTR and DoD FMR Vol. 9.Clearance: Active TS/SCIDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this employment classification.
