Job description
Janitorial Worker All Shifts
This role provides janitorial services in a large, modern data center, ensuring that office spaces, common areas, restrooms, and operational areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained during the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Perform general janitorial duties in a large data center, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and trash removal in office spaces, common areas, and data center floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including fixtures, floors, mirrors, and dispensers, while maintaining adequate supplies.
Remove trash and recycling from indoor areas and transport it to designated disposal locations.
Occasionally work outside to collect and remove trash from exterior areas around the facility.
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Use appropriate cleaning tools, equipment, and products to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Support floor care activities as needed, such as sweeping, mopping, or assisting with specialized floor maintenance.
Communicate any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning to the appropriate contact.
Work scheduled 2nd shift hours and perform overtime as needed to support facility needs.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, general production, warehouse, food service, or manufacturing roles.
Ability to perform sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning to a high standard.
Capability to occasionally work outside for trash removal and related tasks.
Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail in all assigned areas.
Reliability in working 2nd shift hours and flexibility to support overtime when required.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials throughout the shift.
Basic familiarity with floor care tasks and cleaning equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Floor care experience is a plus, including working with floor maintenance tasks or equipment.
Experience working in large facilities, industrial environments, or data centers is beneficial.
Comfort working in a new facility that may still be under construction.

Work Environment
This position is for 2nd shift, working from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with one schedule running Tuesday through Saturday and another running Sunday through Thursday. Some overtime may be required based on facility needs. The work takes place in a large, brand-new data center in Mount Pleasant that is still under construction, so you can expect a modern but evolving environment with active building work in certain areas. Duties occur both indoors in office spaces, common areas, and data center floors, and occasionally outdoors for trash removal. Steel toe or composite toe boots are required as part of the dress code to ensure safety in this facility setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
