Janitorial Maintenance TechnicianYellowJacket Maintenance is seeking a full-time Janitorial Maintenance Technician to handle cleaning and minor repairs of properties in the Chicago area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent service and supporting field operations.What we offer:Compensation starting at $17/HR, or depending on experienceMonthly cell phone stipendMedical/Dental/Vision insuranceFront loaded PTO401k - Company match up to 4%Long and short term disability at no cost to employeeWhat you'll do:Complete minor repairs (common areas and units)Clean common areas of property such as: rotating dumpsters (requires ability to move containers), dusting, vacuuming & mopping, carpet cleaning, window washing, emptying trash containers, cleaning grounds, removing weeds, trimming shrubs, watering plants, snow & Ice removal and replacing light bulbs.Complete routine building checks and reports to property managers.Adjust HVAC settings on thermostatsHandle damages, such as, door, lock, and gate malfunctionMeet with outside repair contractors as neededPick-up and deliver building supplies as neededWhat you'll need:Must be able to perform physical work that sometimes involves heavy lifting.Reliable transportation with valid driver's license2+ years of cleaning experienceBasic mechanical aptitude, painting and minor repair experience.Excellent communication skills and a general understanding of property management is necessary.About Yellowjacket Maintenance/Westward360:Yellowjacket Maintenance is dedicated to providing exceptional community management, rental management and brokerage services.
