Janitorial Site Lead – Warehouse
Schedule Options
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Friday–Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Site Lead to oversee cleaning operations at a busy warehouse facility. The Site Lead will be responsible for leading the janitorial team, ensuring the facility is maintained to high cleanliness and safety standards, and making sure all assigned duties are completed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise janitorial staff during the assigned shift.
Assign daily cleaning duties and monitor employee performance.
Ensure warehouse floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, chemicals, and safety requirements.
Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishment.
Follow all warehouse safety rules and janitorial procedures.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, damages, or other concerns to management.
Complete daily checklists, inspections, and required documentation.
Communicate effectively with warehouse management and the janitorial team.
Address attendance, performance, and operational issues as needed.
Ensure the team follows company policies and customer expectations.
Requirements
Valid driver's license required.
Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Must be comfortable working the assigned shift and schedule.
