Job description
Furman University invites applications for a tenure-track Professor of Japanese (Assistant/Associate/Full) to begin August 2027. The successful candidate will teach Japanese language and contribute to a vibrant Asian Studies program in a liberal arts setting.
Responsibilities include teaching five courses per year at all levels, developing courses, coordinating study abroad, advising students, pursuing an active research program, and participating in service.
