Java Developer + Automation Testing experience
They want someone who spends the majority of their time developing software, but also has meaningful experience building and executing automated tests.
Must-haves
Strong Java development experience
Building applications/features, not just test scripts
Object-oriented programming
APIs/services/backend development
Test automation experience
Selenium
Playwright
Cucumber
JMeter
Or comparable automation frameworks.
Ability to write automation code, not simply execute tests.
Experience integrating testing into the development lifecycle/CI/CD. xzgxqkn
Comfortable working as a developer who owns quality, rather than a QA person primarily responsible for testing.
