Role Overview
Apply Java backend expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contract role focuses on shaping how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Architect robust microservices solutions for complex application requirements.
Work with the customer team to review technical specifications and deliver high-quality code.
Provide expert input to improve application performance, reliability, and security.
Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.
Document technical processes and solutions clearly and concisely.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems as needed.
Qualifications
Expert proficiency in Java.
Hands-on Spring Boot backend development experience.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and design principles.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, efficient code.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and close attention to detail.
Experience collaborating with remote teams in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of REST APIs, data structures, and backend best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with AI-driven or data-intensive projects.
Background in high-availability or distributed systems.
Work Terms
Remote contractor engagement.
Compensation
$30 to $90 per hour.
