Job description
Friendly, organized, self-motivated volunteers needed to help us make our annual Fall Family Festival on September 27 from 11am - 3pm at the historic 23-acre Jay Estate a success! The event is part of New York State's Hudson River Valley Ramble.
The Jay Estate is an award-winning park & culture hub on Long Island Sound, the heart of Westchester’s only National Historic Landmark District. And this year we are kicking off our first America at 250 events! Jay Day includes old-fashioned carriage rides, facepainting, music, vendors and more.
Volunteers will help set up tents and organize the campus in the morning. During the event, they will direct attendees to various activities, monitor lines, set up tables and chairs, work at the admissions table giving out wristbands, circulate through the vent to troubleshoot and more. After the event they will help pack up tents and chairs.
Volunteers should be 13 years or older. Great opportunity for community service hours! Get to know fellow park ambassadors and Westchester neighbors.
