Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities:Perform machine, line set up/tear down, and changeover functionsWork with coworkers to achieve and maintain production goalsEnsure start up, break, and lunch sanitation procedures are performed and satisfy GMP requirementsMonitor status of product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling issuesMonitor and verify that production is in compliance with specificationsInsure safety equipment is used, lockout/tagout procedures practiced, and job rotation procedures followedInsure tear down and dry cleanup is completed at end of shiftRecord and complete delay and production reportsMinimum Qualifications:Must understand and apply the concepts of the J-OTS Team Charter, Team Commitment, and Managing PrinciplesGood communication skillsAbility to work harmoniously with peopleWilling to accept responsibilityAbility to troubleshoot and solve minor mechanical problemsWilling to accept challenges and deal positively with adversityLift up to 50 poundsWork in cold environment, 32-40 degreesAbility to become lockout/tagout trainedMust be able to speak, read, and write in English and be able to communicate with managementJennie-O Turkey Store provides equal employment opportunities to applicants and employees without regard to race; color; sex; gender identity; sexual orientation; religious practices and observances; national origin; pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions; status as a protected veteran or spouse/family member of a protected veteran; or disability.
