nAs a Job Coach(known internally as a Career Resource Specialist) you will help individuals learn and strengthen their life skills as it relates to employment and education.
nA typical day might include the following:
nnnWorking with individuals to develop career goals and objectives
n
nnHelping individuals create a customized resume and complete applications for either jobs or school admissions
n
nnCoaching and preparing for interviews
n
nnAssisting individuals at their job sites to ensure success and independence
n
nnProvide occasional transportation to interviews and other essential employment milestones, while supporting individuals towards independent community travel. (mileage reimbursement provided)
n
n nThis position may interest you if:

n nCareer growth opportunities – potential selection into our Management Training Program for people who have the following experience:
nnnManagement of a small team

nnInformal leadership in sports, clubs, or civic organizations
n
n nAdditional requirements include:
nnnValid driver’s license and comfortable traveling within your local community
n
nnMonday – Friday, daytime business hours (flexibility offered for part-time)
n
nnComfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device
n
