Our Supported Employment Program: This is a program that helps individuals find a job and develop the skills needed to be successful in that job.
A job coach will provide support and training to help individuals learn how to complete job tasks and understand the company's policies and procedures.
As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for: Assisting individuals at their workplace to complete tasks successfully.
Helping individuals adjust to the workplace culture and understand the workplace policies.
Providing hands-on training, observation, and evaluation of the individual's work tasks to help them improve.
Developing a relationship with workplace supervisors to gain feedback on the individual's performance and to help create a workplace environment that will maximize the individual's success.
Using BuildAbility's digital program to log the individual's progress and performance.
Schedule: Part-time and Full-time roles
Open availability, including Weekends
Hours assigned are subject to change weekly based on availability
Work Location: Traveling position
San Fernando Valley region
Compensation: Starting at $19.00- $23.00/hour (dependent upon prior experience and qualifications).
Benefits: Paid Sick Time (56 hours)

Qualifications: Optimistic attitude and ability to give encouraging verbal feedback regularly.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, their family members, employers, and others in a positive and constructive manner.
CPR/First Aid Certification (required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (required, or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
Bilingual Spanish (preferred).
Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance.
Willing to travel.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Proof of Criminal Background Clearance.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
